This is a config for SysStats 2.5. It will work on ObjectDock, YzDock and AveDesk. Unzip into your ObjectDockdocklets directory (or your AveDeskdocklets or YzDock directory)

You can use it to launch iTunes - then it will display the cover art and track name in your dock. If a track doesn't any cover art it will display the icon you see in the screenshot. Don't have much cover art - try http://ipodsoft.com/downloads/it...

As with all sysstats configs: To use add a SysStats docklet to your dock, right click, select 'Load...' and select iTunes.ini

Proenca has kindly agreed to let me distribute his iPod mini icons with this docklet - so you have something good to look at if there isn't any cover art.
